Series of illustrations created for a master’s project, developed as part of a picture book worked in an analog way. The book, Love for My Curls, explores self-esteem and the relationship with curly hair through a simple and relatable perspective.
The illustrations were made using colored pencils, playing with color and texture to create a naïve, warm feeling, where emotion and identification are at the center of the story.
